Our Endangered Animals Posters

 

Moa's Ark

We have been reading a story called Moa's Ark and decided to create our own. We all chose an animal and made two of them then we stuck them on our ark. We made the sky and water by ripping or cutting coloured paper and overlaying them to create an interesting effect. Our ark is very cool!

HAPPY HOUR ROCKS

We love it when we get to have Happy Hour. We have tried hard all week to be quiet and sensible so Mrs Reid would let us have it. We made it and got to have an awesome afternoon of fun and games!

Homework this week...

This week for homework you are going tocomplete your endangered animal poster. You need to research your chosen animal and its habitat and why it has become endangered. Think about what people need to do in order to save it from extinction.

 It is due this Friday 29th June.

Present your information in a clear, colouful and interesting way.

Our Certificates this week...

For term two the certificate is going to L.C for an improved attitude towards her work and growing confidence in her ability. She has been working so hard on her presentation skills, finishing on time, being part of the class, becoming more helpful and friendly and so on! Mrs Reid is so proud of her and her achievement!
Our value is Honesty and when asked if a piece of work was her best, M.I was completely honest and said no it wasn't. Even though this meant she had to do it again she was honest and Mrs Reid thinks that this is an excellent attitude to have.
Well done t both girls!!!

Homework this week...

This week we want you to think outside of the square.... you need to come up with a plan to catch a monkey without using a net! The monkey is not allowed to be hurt in any way.
